Flare Jeans

“Less is more” – I have repeatedly been a fan of clean cut and minimal aesthetic when it comes to fashion.  Sometimes, a sleek and simple look can be more powerful than the over-the-top outfits.  And I’m sure a clean style that works for multiple occasions will cause less work for us girls in the morning.  Minimalist styles do not have to look boring with only neutral tones.  You can kick it up a notch by adding the right silver/gold accents or choosing the right statement details to your entire look.

For my outfit of the day, I give the main focus on this tailoring pair of flare jeans from Paige.  Exaggerated wide legs are making a swift revival along with the 70’s trend.  This pair of high-rise and wide-leg jeans completes my city look with a slight vintage touch, without any “out-of-date” residual.  I personally prefer dark denim because they are easier to maintain and they “feel” a little more dressed up.  A pair of flare jeans is a total game-changing element to your denim closet.  To complete my streamlined silhouette, I pick out a white and cozy cashmere turtleneck without the need of layering.  The oversized turtleneck alone can keep me warm all day!  Lastly, I accessorize the look with a black leather bag and a pair of neutral sling-backs - that is comfortable to walk around the city while looking chic at the same time.

“The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak.”
